#230 i am not.

so yesterday

i was in the bathroom at melbourne central station

and this vietnamese lady asked me if i was vietnamese

i said 'no.'

then she said, 'do you know what time centre closes today?'

i said 'probably 6.'

then after a short while she goes, 'where are you from?'

'i'm australian.'

'no, where are you from?'

'i'm chinese.... from china.'

'are you vietnamese? you look vietnamese.'

'no. i'm chinese.'

'are you sure?'

'i'm not vietnamese.'

'sure?'

'yes.'

i got pretty annoyed that she was so insistent

to the point that i felt really offended.

and for the record, no i'm not vietnamese.

my mum was orn in vietnam, but she's chinese.

and my dad's born in china and he's chinese also.

jogging bare #115

jogging shirtless when its nearly winter
ok?
or just being a douche?
i say douche
i think there's a special time and place to jog shirtless
that is,
during summer
only if it is really hot
or you're jogging next to the beach
i don't know
jogging just to show off your body seems like such a douche-y thing to do
to me
yeah, i saw someone do that today
and it was around 5 o'clock
meaning it wasn't even hot
but the guy was buff
so i assume he did it to show off
hmm.

had quite an eventful day
in the morning
i woke up at 7 am
cos i had a really bad sore throat that woke me up
and i felt sick
went back to bed and woke up at 11am
i went to buy sore throat gargle in foots
then got on a train to go to the city
on the train
some lady asked everyone if the had change
EVERYONE refused her
yet when she walked past again
she specifically said to me
"i know you have money, you're eating"
like wtf
as if i was going to give it to you anyway
and i'm pretty sure most people in that carriage had money
just that no one wanted to give it to her
so its not like i was the only one
lol
sigh.

at around four
after i'd finished studying in the library
well i was shopping for stuff
and got on a tram
and well
don't you just hate it when you see someone
and they look really familiar
but you just don't remember
yes, well that happened
some guy got on the tram with his mates
and i saw him and i couldn't remember where from
and the problem was
i remember talking to him
as in actually conversing
yes
but he saw me as well
there was a look of recognition
but i'm not sure if he remembers me either
so yes
i sat on the whole tram ride
with a disapproval frown
because i couldn't remember
and the thing is
i remembered near the end of the tram ride
and well, it was too awkward to say hi or anything anymore
HAHA.

then i went to clegs
cos it was 20% off
and i bought lots of felt
and decided that i was going to try to make some brooches

then when i got off the bus
i went to sims
to look for something in particular
and ended up walking in then out
cos i couldn't find it
then the check out chick had a very accusing look on her face
and asked to check my bag
but seriously i walked in and out in 2 mins
obviously i didn't steal anything
but yes.

after that went home
convinced my mum to drive me to coles to buy something
had a fight in the car
you know about uni stuff
ie. YOU DON'T STUDY ENOUGH, etc.
she got pissed off and turned around
so i got off and decided to walk there
went there to buy a 12 L water thing with a tap
(all i wanted was a plastic jug with a tap,
but i searched for it all day and couldn't find it
so i resorted to this)
and well obviously i can't carry 12L for very long
so i went outside and emptied
a lot of the water into the bushes
so it was lighter
then sat at the bus stop for like 40 mins
because it was a sunday timetable
and by this time it was pitch black
and got home at like 7.30
(we left the house at 6)

irregular shoppers #85

HAHA
i like my title
it makes them sound like they're irregular
as in
they have irregular bowels
lol.

anyhow,
so i was at savers
as usual
and well, i'm what i call a normal shopper
i start from one side of the rack and work towards the other side
well, i encountered a irregular shopper
and well, sometimes you encounter people
who are slightly irregular
but not to the extent of this lady
so she'd start at say the right side, look a little
then go to the start of the left side look a little more
return to the right side
to the same place
and this is during while i'm working my way down the rack
and she'd push all the clothes away
and well, if you shop at savers regularly
you know that there's an etiquette
that if someone's looking at their section don't intrude
just look somewhere else
and return later
but seriously she was intruding
and i was so annoyed
then she'd decide to return the left side
and then the end of the right
and back to the top of the left
yes.
she was annoying.

so today i was at lincraft
buying some stuff and it was nearly closing time
so i was going to pay
then i walk up to the cash register
and the chick is counting money
but there's a sign that says
register is closed, pay at the cutting corner
which is upstairs
and the chick saw me go up and didn't say anything
then i go up to the 'cutting corner'
and i ask if i can pay
and she tells me to go downstairs
then i go downstairs to the girl but on the otherside
because there was this other girl
and she goes
'oh, you have to pay over there'
which
because i was quite annoyed at this point
i rolled my eyes at her
and went to the counter which i finally could pay
but the stupid thing is as well
is that
when they announced in the loudspeaker
that they were closing
she said go pay at the cutting corner
but the place i went to pay
had no such sign
whereas the one upstairs did
therefore
lincraft service sucks.

don't you just hate it when
you really want to get home
so you rush out from work
then when you get to your bus stop
you realise you left your wallet at work just when the bus is about to come
so you rush back to work to get your wallet
then go back out
and have to wait for the bus.
and now i realised i left something else at work
which i guess i'll have to get next week.
sigh.

beauty and the beast

went to see mhs/macrob musical tonight
it was really good.
i was still iffy about going to see the musical before i went
but i'm very glad i did
way way way better than when i was at school
(minus les mis, but i didnt see that anyway so i dont know if it was better or not)
& the costumes were friggin awesome
they really were :)
my fav was the clock.
though
i know some of us (cough, sarah) had a bit of an issue with the beast being asian.
lol.
& it was such a shock when the teacup was turned around and we found there was a little boy's head there
i still don't know if it was really a little yr 9 mhs boy that has not reached his growth spurt yet
or if it was actually a little boy
cos i initally thought it was a little girl and it sounded like a girl
but belle was really really good
she had an awesome voice.
:)

oh, though today i had an encounter with this safeway chick
i was at work so i always go to that safeway
and she recognises me
& she's come in before looking for a job
yeah well, i bought some stuff at safeway
and it was only five dollars something but i wanted change
so gave her a fifty and shes like do you have anything smaller, i don't have change
i said no
can you eftpos?
and i said i dont have money in it (which is actually true)
and obviously she did have change so she was forced to give it to me
and she like "you work in a phrmacy, you should know what its like without change"
and stuffs my things into a bag
i mean she sorta slams it in
and she grabs and slams the nexts persons stuff as well
she has a friggin attitude problem
like, i'm seen her get all pissy before as well
when this old lady made her double bag everything
and she was slamming things in.
and she has a really annoyed look on her face.
anyway, i was so annoyed when i left
like 1. what does the pharmacy have to do with anything? i'm not a friggin checkout chick
2. if someone gave me a fifty, i would give them change if i had change (& not lie about it) & be nice about it. mean we run out of change all the time, but i always fgure out a way, there's no need to react like that.
3. i gave her a fifty, which meant she needed to give me two twentys back. There were twentys , not like i asked her to give me four tens or soemthing, as if you need to keep that many twentys in the til. you only need to give a twenty change is when someone gives you fifty. like i said, no need to react like that.
ok, rant spiel over.

i had one last thing i wanted to blog about.
trying to think of what it was.
oh yes,
i did(dispensed) my first script today (or yesterday, techically its yesterday, but its still saturday to me) !!
no one probably cares
but
its kinda exciting for me. :)
