so today i was meant to be in the city by 1.30

because i was meant to lead a bible study

so i just missed my 12.48 train by about 30 seconds

and so i was forced to take the 1.08 train

which was delayed

because apparently there was some guy walking the tracks

and there was police there

so my train was delayed about 10 minutes

which result me getting to the bible study at 1.40

and super flustered and out of breath.

so, no i didn't end up leading the bible study

i have to do it next week.

sigh.

you know what's fun

realising you left a tissue in your pocket

after you put it in the wash

and you're left with the task of emptying out

crumbly bits of tissue.

and you can't get it completely clean

because its smeared all over your pocket.

well, at least it was only a pair of pj trackies

so i guess its not too bad.

so today i was buying stuff

and the chick serving these ladies

well, she wasn't too into it

and wasn't super pleasant

but also, cos they had to split the receipts

and payments or whatever

and then one of the ladies was like

"i don't like your attitude"

and i was just thinking

well, i would get a bit annoyed at that

because i work in retail/customer service as well

and i sort of know what its like

if you work for many hours

obviously you get a bit tired and everything

and you become less into it

and especially when you get really annoying customers

you can't always be super cheerful.

also, the saying 'the customer is always right'

is so not true.

but we can leave that for today.

although the thing i hate about ticketmaster alerts

is that they only tell you about the concert

the day before the tickets are coming out

so theres a bit of a mad rush

for me

the day before the tickets are sold

finding someone to come with me.

wig lady #106

i have a few things to talk about today,
so here goes:

1. so today on the train
(which was delayed)
there was this lady
and at first glance
there's nothing wrong really
but then after observing her again
i realise there was something wrong with her hair
it looked like this
her hair was very
lets say
volumous
and all this one brown colour
it also is to be noted
that appart from her hair
she looked quite old
and after even closer inspection
i saw grey hairs underneath
and thats when i realised she was wearing A WIG!
which i found quite funny
cos i'd never seen anyone is real life trying to pull off an actual wig



2. i got results back from this midsem of a subject i'm repeating
and the test was pretty much the same as last years
and i studied beforehand
so how on earth did i do worse than i did last year
wth?
very depressed since i found out.
gah,
i hate this subject so much
i hate you, helen!!

3. on a brighter note
my scholarship got paid through

so i was studying at the library today
and there this guy who comes and sits at the table next to mine
carrying
a miscroscope
seriously
a full sized one as well
and he was looking into it and stuff
and writing what i assume is a lab report
but i'm thinking
is that even hygienic
and why could he not do it in the lab
as opposed to at the library
yes
i found it very odd indeed.

also, i find it very rude if someone doesn't hold the door
even though you are directly behind them
like i don't mind if they're like more than 10 sec behind them
but letting the door close on someones face
when you know they're behind you
is just plain rude.

some asian chick did it to me today
actually, no, correction.
it wasn't even that
so she was behind me
and i opened the door
and was going to go through
and held the door for her
and she went first
like wth?

i feel so jibbed
& i'll explain why.

well, my all time fav beatles album is 'abbey rd'
and it is for most people
but for fav song
for most people its the usual ones
like all you need is love or sgt pepper or hey jude
or whatever
but mine has always been
octopus' garden
i love that song.

but now i feel jibbed
because it doesn't seem that original
since summer in '500 days of summer'
says that her fav song too.
though most people don't remember that
i remember it
cos it bugged me when i saw it.

i do really like 'maxwell's silver hammer' and 'and your bird can sing'
i have many other favs
but yes.
i feel jibbed.
but then like
i KNOW i'm such a music snob
i dislike stuff once its more popular
ie. turns mainstream
i don't know
i'm just like that
i feel this sense of entitlement
like well, i go to all this effort to listen to new bands
but once they go mainstream
well, just anyone can hear it
and like well they didn't go to so much effort to choose what they listen to
hence, feeling of sense of entitlement
sorta.
but yes
in conclusion, i'm a music snob
and i know it.

had quite an eventful day
in the morning
i woke up at 7 am
cos i had a really bad sore throat that woke me up
and i felt sick
went back to bed and woke up at 11am
i went to buy sore throat gargle in foots
then got on a train to go to the city
on the train
some lady asked everyone if the had change
EVERYONE refused her
yet when she walked past again
she specifically said to me
"i know you have money, you're eating"
like wtf
as if i was going to give it to you anyway
and i'm pretty sure most people in that carriage had money
just that no one wanted to give it to her
so its not like i was the only one
lol
sigh.

at around four
after i'd finished studying in the library
well i was shopping for stuff
and got on a tram
and well
don't you just hate it when you see someone
and they look really familiar
but you just don't remember
yes, well that happened
some guy got on the tram with his mates
and i saw him and i couldn't remember where from
and the problem was
i remember talking to him
as in actually conversing
yes
but he saw me as well
there was a look of recognition
but i'm not sure if he remembers me either
so yes
i sat on the whole tram ride
with a disapproval frown
because i couldn't remember
and the thing is
i remembered near the end of the tram ride
and well, it was too awkward to say hi or anything anymore
HAHA.

then i went to clegs
cos it was 20% off
and i bought lots of felt
and decided that i was going to try to make some brooches

then when i got off the bus
i went to sims
to look for something in particular
and ended up walking in then out
cos i couldn't find it
then the check out chick had a very accusing look on her face
and asked to check my bag
but seriously i walked in and out in 2 mins
obviously i didn't steal anything
but yes.

after that went home
convinced my mum to drive me to coles to buy something
had a fight in the car
you know about uni stuff
ie. YOU DON'T STUDY ENOUGH, etc.
she got pissed off and turned around
so i got off and decided to walk there
went there to buy a 12 L water thing with a tap
(all i wanted was a plastic jug with a tap,
but i searched for it all day and couldn't find it
so i resorted to this)
and well obviously i can't carry 12L for very long
so i went outside and emptied
a lot of the water into the bushes
so it was lighter
then sat at the bus stop for like 40 mins
because it was a sunday timetable
and by this time it was pitch black
and got home at like 7.30
(we left the house at 6)

ok,
well today i didn't do much
do much
as in
do much easter stuff
went to a friend's housewarming/daughters first birthday
celebration thing
then hung around til 11pm
yes.

but um,
well, i guess i'll do my little spiel on easter
easter, now, like christmas
is ALL just commericalised
and lost ALL meaning
pretty much all
i mean
there was no eggs
or bunnies
when Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins
there was no chocolate
no easter eggs hunts
and like
now it seems for others
to be a perfect excuse for a long weekend
the same way i feel about christmas now
its just all commercialised
and people use it to profit from others
which i dislike.
i mean, for both i get why we had those celebrations to begin with
to ACTUALLY appreciate what it is for
but it saddens me deeply now
that no one cares what it is for anymore.

i mean another non Christian example
would be labour day
no one really knows why we have that holiday
the holiday there to for us to appreciate that we don't have to work long hours anymore
as in, we no longer have to work longer than 8 hrs a day
yes.
it is sad.
society shows no appreciation and just, well, TAKES.

its sad.

anyhow, i hope most of you read this whole thing right through
because, well. its the hard truth
we're in a selfish society
that takes, doesn't appreciate and doesn't give.

don't you just hate it when
you really want to get home
so you rush out from work
then when you get to your bus stop
you realise you left your wallet at work just when the bus is about to come
so you rush back to work to get your wallet
then go back out
and have to wait for the bus.
and now i realised i left something else at work
which i guess i'll have to get next week.
sigh.

melbourne central BLACKLISTED.

it looks so threatening
so well
yesterday i realised
(and i have no idea why it didn't occur to me earlier)
that there are absolutely ZERO recycle bins in melbourne central
(apart from the train station)
i had come to this realisation
because i had finished my 1.5 L coles water
and wanted to throw my bottle out
but couldn't cos i could not find a recycle bin
and i guess this has never happened to me before
like i'd always end up finding a recycle bin
either outside, or some other place
that i had never been struck with such a dilema
the thing is
there's SO many bins in melbourne central
you can walk like 5 metres and find one
but ZERO recycle bins.
therefore, melbourne central is now on my blacklist
so to speak.

i think i shall write a letter of complaint
(after my exams)
and send it in.
but then,
i'm sure that someone has complained before
yet there are still no recycle bins
hmm.

and the thing is
its MELBOURNE CENTRAL
theres so many people going in there everyday
thus more litter
thus more can be recycled
like i wouldn't be as passionate with, i dunno, werribee plaza not having recycle bins
since it would not be as much litter
sigh.

oh, another incident like this was
when i was still working in oportos
there was
A) no recycle bins
B) no cardboard/paper recycle bins
see, i think i would be ok, with no recycle bin
but paper bin?
that's SUCH a waste.
like everything that comes in (as in stock)
is in boxes that are just thrown out.
hmph.

ok, end rant.
but yes, i will go and complain.

i have a test in about four hours
and i feel like i don't know anything

anyhow, i've been meaning to talk about this for a VERY long time
and its about the recently (sort of) renovated female toilets in melb central
the one next to maccas inside the station
they basically redesigned it but its pretty much worse than it was before
i mean yes, it looks better
but the design was definitely not thought out very well
because
1) these new toilets have no toilet seats
so you end up sitting on cold metal (cos the new toilet bowls are metal)
quite uncomfortable.
2) the doors are too large/the cubicle space is too small
its so hard to close the door
you literally have to pretty much stand over the toilet to be able to close the door
its SO poorly designed.
why couldn't they just make the toilets like the ones up stairs?
or at least put toilet seats on them.
sigh.

the second thing i wanted to say was
so lately the sydenham train has ben undergoing construction and things
so late and night the train always ends at footscray
and there are connecting buses
meaning EVERYONE has to get off at footscray
what bugs me is
when everyone is getting off the train
WHY on earth do they PUSH?
seriously
its so unnecessary
like the connecting buses are obviously going to wait
so you don't have to rush
and i don't know
i just get so annoyed.

also people getting on the train/tram/bus before others can get off
that's so rude as well.

but i mean as an only child, it shouldn't be surprising

while i'm walking on the streets
or making my own little observations in my head about my surroundings.

i have another issue
i agree that when people meet me that i'm quiet
but people also think i'm shy
but the thing is i really don't think i'm shy
i'm just kept to myself.
there's a difference
if i wanted to talk, i would.
but i don't, because i don't want to
not because i'm scared of what others would think.
i just much prefer listening to others
(i do think i'm a very good listener)

so today i was at work
and i had an errand to officeworks
just to but supplies and stuff

side note:
i do go on errands often, usually to:
1) to get my boss coffee
2) to post things
3) to go to other pharmacies
4) to go random bargain shopping for something in the shop (it happens more often than you think)
i used to go on errands way more often when the other pharmacist was there
she'd get me to buy her lunch everyday
often to a restaurant to buy her vegie dumplings or coles to buy salad
and i also used to go to the bank quite a lot too
(but that's cos i worked pretty much full time during the summer hols)

ok
back to my story
so i was walking to officeworks
and this passerby goes "good morning"
and i just said hi
as normal as it seems
the thing is
it was around 3 PM
it wasn't really an ambigious time
like 12 PM
i feel strange saying good afternoon when its like 12pm or 1pm
its not afternoon but not morning either
but its also strange to say "good noon." or "happy noon."
so yes.
i found it amusing when the man said "good morning"
but i just pretended i didn't notice anything
and didn't look at him strange or anything
haha

also another thing
another place which has crappy service
(adding to the subway on chapel)
is the officeworks
its kinda like subway
they're like 20 somethings just hanging around each other just chatting
so you feel awkward to ask for help
and also when you get help they take so long to find stuff for you
meh.
its not as bad as the subway though
but yet i'm forced to go there
most weeks
but the really slow guy doesn't work there anymore
or at least i haven't seen him
so it isn't that bad most of the time
but sometimes i do get those ones would seem to have a bit of an attitude and are slow
they're annoying.

1. kanye west
most people know what happened, if not you'll hear about it soon.
but here's what i think, he's a douche bag and the thing is its not like he hasn't done anything like this before, its the THIRD time he has had a public outburst.
i think he should be banned from the MTV awards ceremonies (like he can still be nominated, but can't attend) at least for a year.
i mean just because he's an uber celeb doesn't mean his actions should be without repercussions. like he can't just act like that and then blame it on alcohol, i mean if you are prone to act like that under the influence, don't drink. that's what the after parties are for.
but yeah, poor taylor. & i really like beyonce now, she was so nice about it.

she threatened a lines person, because she was foot faulted. apparently she said "i will kill you" (according to the asian lines person, and thats a reason why some people also thinks she's racist) and serena's like "no, i didn't" and apparently some people in the crowd were yelling "yes you did." but i couldn't really hear that properly.

well, i think she was going to lose anyway, its not like it was in the beginning of the game. but yes, definitely don't threaten an authority with murder. it won't go down well. :)

4. megan fox
the crew of transoformers 2 wrote a public letter basically just saying she's a biatch.

actually today has been a bad day
i mean it wasn't that bad.

including prescriptions
onto a piece of paper
then manually
using a dodgy calculator
calculate the totals and things
it was very annoying.
plus the fact
i just kept feeling worse and worse during work
i just felt more and more feverish.
i felt quite bad just before
so i went to the fridge and found like a 2 year expired demazin
and took that plus panadol
and luckily it still works.
i feel much better now.
no more blocked nose.
yay.
i feel more alert now, than any other time during today.

oh yeah.
these guys came in today and asked for antihistamines
and being an assistant, i asked who it was for
and they said no one in particular
so i was like "ok..?"
and then they explained that the wanted to keep it on hold
in case people get allergic to their cat.

it just will never work
cos the best you an come up with is
jackson or even aly
but then thats/they are actual names
and the whole point of these couples names
are to join the two people together into one name
but the name is obvious enough for everyone to know its two people.
though i am fine without the couple name
i'm just saying..

bolt babe?

so yesterday i saw some guy with a bag on the train
and well i though the bag was interesting
but no one else on my carriage seemed to notice it
its was a 'bolt babe' bag
so the bag was black with pink rimming
and a huge 'bolt babe' in pink on the front
and many many hearts (which have been broken, lol) in pink
the guy must have not known though
he looked about 30-ish and was east asian (that's the proper term for it, indian i mean)

i've been feeling really sick lately
i don't know
it's not normal sick though
for the past two days
whenever i eat something
i feel nauseous afterwards
and the smell of really oily foods really gross me out
and the only things i've been feeling like eating are cold
(though i still eat hot stuff)

i shall go now.
really need to study,
second week and i feel like i'm uber behind

sorry i haven't been blogging
feeling very uninspired lately
i think i'm feeling bit down
cos i found out i failed one of my subjects

i don't play the guitar that much anymore either
i think i'm going through a not so great patch
i'm breaking out insanely
i don't really have the inspiration to do anything
even though i go to bed late
just zoned out watching youtube
its quite horrible
i go to bed late
and i dont know why
i love sleeping
but yet its hard for me to get to bed
and its not like i really have anything to do

& on top of that
i hate the weather
i always say this
but i really mean it
i hate winter

oh but on a happier note
i cleaned my room
but since none of you have probably been in my room
you won't understand how much of an achievement it is
my room is just full of clutter
though i can't help it
i love all the stuff that is in my room
i'll name all the big stuff i have in my room
i have:
-a bed
-a desk, which is pretty large
-TWO bookshelfs - well technically one is a proper book shelf, and the other is those artsy boxy shelves
but they do take up a lot of space
-a full length mirror with a stand - the stand does take a lot of room, it takes as much room as a seat would, but its tall
-my desk chair
& my bean bag is probably the other thing worth mentioning
so yes
my room gets cluttered and messy easily
because:
1. i'm a girl, i do change clothes a lot when deciding what to wear
and i usually don't put them back nicely in the wardrobe because
2. i'm lazy
3. when i clean my room i take like a whole day, cos everything has to be put back to a particular place, thus i don't clean my room often

another reason why cleaning my room is quite an achievement
my mum gave me a reward cos i kept my room clean for about a month
can't remember when that was though
i think it was year 9
