hi! i'm als & this is my blog.

i write about random things.
these days i write pretty sporatically.
sometimes i completely rave about something, like a tv show but sometimes i write pretty serious things.
i write in short phrases, i like the freedom of not having to write in proper punctuation and grammar.
i'm a christian. i also ♥ music, art, photography, movies, tv & books.

hope you enjoy ♥

basterds.

so i saw inglourious basterds on monday with jacky
i really really liked it.
and for me especially, cos i was so proud that i could understand quite a lot of the german dialogue without the subtitles
:) :)
my german still hasn't died yet

oh, and throughout the movie
i kept going
"oh, i've seen that guy before. who is he?"
and it happened like 3/4 times
and it annoyed me cos i kept thinking about it
i remembered though during the film
turns out they're from all the german stuff i've watched
so i'll mention them to you :)
Daniel Brühl
so to all of my german buddies
and those who came to german club with us
he was in The Edukators and he played Jan
and also, if you've seen Goodbye Lenin!
he played Alex in that as well

Gedeon Burhard
he is the second Kommissar Rex (Inspektor Rex) guy
he played Bradtner
and he was my favourite out of all of the agents
(well, maybe i liked the first guy too, Moser, but the third guy was crap with that girl as his partner)
defs the best looking though, out of all the agents
:)

and the other two
Eli Roth and Til Schweiger
i still have not figured out where i have seen them before
but the look SO familiar
and i looked at their list of movies
and they haven't been in anything i've seen
hmm?

another thing i wanted to say
Eli Roth
he looked like a friggin male model in the movie
he gave off this Zoolander/Bruno look
it was quite funny

also, B.J. Novak
Ryan from The Office was in it too
and i don't understand why
he's just not tough looking like the rest of the Basterds
its just doesn't work

and one last thing
i kept having trouble spelling their 'inglourious'
cos it has an extra 'u'
and its strange cos the lose the 'u' in the rest of their spelling
like color or favorite
(as opposed to colour & favourite)
odd.

anyhow,
thats my little spiel on the movie

wait, oh one last thing
there's this scene after they introduce the director and his wife
that scene was just so unnecessary and i have no idea why it there.
yes s if you watch that movie, look out for the scene
i think, you'll know what i mean.
